Mammillaria wildii A.Dietr.

Clustering, body elongate, to 6 cm wide and 15 cm high, without milky sap. Tubercles prominent. Axils long bristly. Central spines 3-4, 8-10 mm long, yellowish to brownish, one hooked. Radial spines 8-10, 6-8 mm long, white, fine. Flowers whitish with brownish central stripe, to 1.5 cm long and wide. Fruit brownish-red.
