Mammillaria rubrograndis Repp. & A.B.Lau

Solitary, body depressed globular, 10-15 cm wide. Axils woolly. Tubercles angled, prominent. Central spines 1-4, 10-20 mm long, brown. Radial spines 11-13, 4-12 mm long, dark brown, needle-like. Flowers carmine, 4 cm long and wide. Fruit dull red.
