Clematis napaulensis D C.

Leaves divided into 3 pointed, irregularly toothed leaflets, summer deciduous. Flowers axillary, solitary or few on previous year's growth, bell-shaped with a small cup-shaped bract above the base; winter. Perianth segments 4, softly hairy on both surfaces, pale creamy green of the flower. Stamens purple, protruding from the bell of the flower.
