Clematis chrysocoma Franch.

Deciduous climber. Stems densely yellow-brown hairy, at least at first. Leaves with 3 leaflets all covered with yellow-brown down. Leaflets with 3 lobes. Flowers solitary, white tinged pink; spring to summer. Perianth segments 4, densely hairy below. Sometimes treated as a variant of c. montana.
