Australian Clematis

Evergreen climber. Leaves with 3 leaflets, toothed, dull above, often silvery veined above and purplish below. Sexes on different plants. Flowers axillary; anther appendage more or less pointed; spring and summer. Fruits feathery, 2-3 cm long.

Vic, NSW, Qld, Tas, WA

See C. glycinoides for differences with this species. Several attractive variants of this species are known.
