Accepted name: Actaea simplex

Plant generally growing to 1 m or so tall. Leaves divided 2-3 times into 3 segments, the terminal segments ovate. Flower clusters generally branching at the base; summer to autumn. Flowers with basal bracts and bracteoles (sometimes minute or absent). Carpels 3-7, stalked.
