Pellaea paradoxa (R.Br.) Hook.

Rhizome long-creeping, often underground. Fronds few, divided once, to about 30 cm long or sometimes much more. Blade broadly ovate in outline. Stalk about as long as blade. Segments to 10 pairs, alternate, about 5-10 cm long, dark green on stalks 1-5 mm long. Sori generally continous on the margin of the segments except at the base.

Needs shelter and warmth.
