Rhizome short, covered with scales. Fronds undivided, of 2 kinds. Blade heart to arrow shaped and with a sparse covering of hair, to 7 cm long; veins netted. Stalk grooved on upper surface. Sporangia forming a network on lower frond surface.
Needs shelter and warmth.
This is an anomalous species with characters that do not conform convincingly with any known genus.
India, Sri Lanka to China, Indochina, Malesia & Philippines.
