Marsilea mutica Mett.

Rhizome long-creeping, branched, more or less hairless. Fronds arising singly along the rhizome. Leaflets up to 5 cm long and with two-toned green patterning separated by brown line. Spore bodies solitary or clustered, without teeth.

Can grow in cool areas.

WA, SA, Qld, NSW, Vic., Tas., New Caledonia.

Leaflets two-toned.
