Roots fibrous. Stems erect to 1 m tall, fleshy, brown with reddish hairs. Leaves long, narrow to 13 cm long, upper surface mid-green, glossy, hairless, with light green, faintly red flushed reverse; margins round-toothed to pointed. Flowers white.
